Reading his Newford books always makes us feel like we’re slipping on a cozy cardigan and drinking tea…but\, like\, the cardigan was stolen from the fairies and the tea has healing properties. \nMoonlight & Vines is our favorite of de Lint’s short story collections\, and we can’t wait to talk about it with you! His writing blends “Lovecraft’s imagery\, Dunsany’s poetry\, Carroll’s surrealism\, and Alice Hoffman’s small-town strangeness\,” creating “a haunting mixture of human warmth and cold inevitability\, of lessons learned and prices to be paid.” \nOur meeting will be on Monday August 22nd at 7PM ET! \nTo join us\, make sure you support us on Patreon on the Willow tier ($7) or higher for the month of August.
