“Once upon a time, there was a witch. She was beautiful and powerful. She was frightening and dangerous. She was everything people feared… and everything they wanted to be.”

We are honored to present an hour and a half long workshop on witches in the Grimms’ fairy tales at The Magical Druid in Columbus this fall! The event will begin with a short lecture followed by a discussion of five different stories from the Grimms’ collection – you can find links to the stories below, but brief overviews will be given during the class as well. We will then conclude with an informal, optional exercise in writing spells and charms from the perspectives of the diverse witch-aspects discussed in class.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions – we hope you can join us! Do check out the Facebook event page too!
