We have exciting things planned for Winter 2019-2020!

December 17th, 2019 – “You Better Watch Out: A Look at Terrifying Holiday Folklore Around the World” – A live Profs and Pints talk in Washington, DC! Grab your tickets here.

December 18th, 2019 – “Wintery Fairy Tales” – A second live Profs and Pints talk in DC! Tickets for this one are available here.

January 8th, 2020 – Kindling a Light in the Darkness: Winter Folklore and Fairy Tales – By popular demand, we’ve conjured up another interactive Carterhaugh mini-course for you, poised right in the coldest and loneliest time of year. We invite you to take shelter from the wind and snow, pull up a chair by our fire, and gather round for stories, fellowship, and rituals to warm you down to your toes. Through a combination of video lectures, written tales, extra resources, and group discussion, we will lead you through some of our favorite winter folklore and fairy tales. More information coming soon!

TBA Winter 2020 – A brand new interactive course on the magical folklore in our everyday lives… we’re talking personal narratives, family narratives, foodways, festival, holiday, dress, ritual, and more… AND guidance on how to channel these folk traditions to bring enchantment to your own life!

Be sure you sign up and never miss a course or event!
