Prompt: Tell us one or two small things you’re grateful for

Quest: When people typically think about gratitude, it’s for the big things in life: your family, your health, your career. But what about all the little things that just help make each day worth living? What about the silly coffee mug that makes you smile every time you see it, or the neighbor’s cat whose grumpy face delights you even though you don’t know his name, or the particularly peaceful way that the sun shines through your curtains each day around 4PM? If you’re actively being dragged down constantly by all of the awful in the world, it’s even more important to shore up your sanity, strength, and sparkle so that you can A) not be miserable, and B) actually have the ability to DO something about all of the miserable things! And sometimes, that involves recognizing the little things. This month, we’d like to know one or two very small things in your life that you’re extremely grateful for.
