Just a quick note this week because Sara’s about to hop on a plane to meet Brittany for the (we couldn’t make this up if we tried) Fairy Tale Boozy Book Faire at which we will be the featured authors! The event is organized by One More Page Books, an obscenely adorable independent bookstore in Arlington, VA.

When: Thursday, June 4  •  5:30 PM – 8 PM

Where: Audacious Aleworks, 110 E Fairfax St., Falls Church, Virginia (about 20 minutes southwest of DC!)

Why: Because this was billed to us as a boozy Scholastic Book Fair for adults and this is obviously our destiny.

We will have copies of our book Fairylore to sign, and we want to meet you! Yes, you!!

“A fairy tale edition of the boozy book fair(e)!

Join us for another Boozy Book Fair at our neighborhood brewery and taproom: Audacious Aleworks in Falls Church! We’ll have books, socks, and other assorted goodies for your perusal while you enjoy some locally brewed beer! (Don’t worry: they also have wine and seltzer!) Preservation Biscuit will provide some delicious sustenance.

Joining the Book Faire this time around are authors Dr. Sara Cleto and Dr. Brittany Warman! They are celebrating their new release Fairylore: A Compendium of the Fae Folk.”

Seriously, we’d be so thrilled to meet you over some books, biscuits, and beer/wine/seltzer/water!

If you can’t make it but still want a signed copy of Fairylore, we believe there are still signed copies available at Virginia Highland Books, which you can order online or by phone. That said, please call them first to confirm they still have a signed one available as their online ordering system doesn’t seem to allow you to make that distinction!
